It is made of swirls which are all slightly different sizes, but which are approximately 2.5cm to 3cm in diametre. Each swirl is hammered and textured on one side so that they shimmer in the light.

The crescent-shaped pendant is silver that has been fold-formed flat, which has then been hammered so that it stretches and changes its shape. Once the crescent shape has been achieved the silver is carefully prised open to make it 3D rather than 2D. The hammered effect gives the pendant texture.
